The Memoirs of Jeremiah Gurney
- An Illustrated Historical Novel

Dear Reader,
This story is comprised primarily of photographs, letters, newspaper articles and most importantly, the writings of noted nineteenth century daguerreian photographer, Jeremiah Gurney, taken directly from a journal he began in April, 1895.
The journal was recently discovered, found buried under a pile of Gurney materials gifted to the New-York Historical Society by the photographer's great-great grandniece, Miss Elizabeth May Possons.
